Server Rules
1. USER AGREEMENT AND POLICY ON YARS WORLD
- 1.1 The server rules are applicable to all players without any exceptions.
- 1.2 By registering an account, the user automatically accepts the rules.
- 1.3 Lack of knowledge or misunderstanding of the rules does not exempt players from liability if they violate them.
- 1.4 Advertising or sharing information about other game servers is prohibited.
- 1.5 The server staff will not entertain personal questions or requests for purchasing game characters, leveling, or in-game items.
- 1.6 The server staff reserves the right to:
- Assess players' actions at their discretion and impose sanctions not specified in these rules, if necessary.
- Review and make decisions on collective inquiries from players.
- Modify the rules without prior notice or consent from the players.
- Make changes to the game server and its services at their discretion.
- 1.7 The account owner is always responsible for their account, even if they share their account details or if the account is hacked.
- 1.8 In the case of repeated violations, more severe sanctions may be applied.
2. GAME CLIENT AND THIRD-PARTY SOFTWARE
- 2.1 Using custom GRF files such as Grayworld, DarkSide is allowed on your own risk. You will automatically loose any support in case of bugs on the game.
The following are strictly prohibited:
- 2.2 Modifying the game client to gain any advantage related to gameplay.
- 2.3 Using packet and visual bots.
- 2.4 Using timer scripts and auto-clickers for automated actions like feeding, using wings, preventing AFK, hiding, etc.
- 2.5 Using auto-clickers for skill-spamming.
- 2.6 Using auto-pototion software.
- 2.7 Using any macro software.
- 2.8 Using more than 2 client windows. This applies also if you own several computers. You are just allowed to play 2 characters at the time.
3. ACCOUNTS AND CHARACTER NAMES
3.1 General Rules
- 3.1.1 Your account name and email serve as identification for your characters. Only with this information can you seek assistance from the server staff.
- 3.1.2 Support may be denied if a temporary email or a non-existing email address was used during the registration process.
- 3.1.3 Support may be denied if a Proxy-Server, Web-Proxy (Anonymizer), VPN Service, VPS/VDS, Dedicated Server, or Services/Addons to change IP or TOR Browser was used during the registration process.
- 3.1.4 Using obscene, provocative, offensive, or inappropriate nicknames is not allowed.
- 3.1.5 Using NPC and Town names or names similar to those of server staff is not allowed.
3.2 Account Security
- 3.2.1 You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Please choose strong passwords and do not share your account information with outsiders.
- 3.2.2 If you share your account details with third parties (including guild members, friends, scammers, links, viruses), your in-game items will not be returned.
- 3.2.3 If you send your in-game items to third parties (including guild members, friends, scammers, links, viruses), your items will not be returned.
- 3.2.4 The server staff is not responsible for stolen in-game items. Please choose a strong password and keep it confidential.
- 3.2.5 Avoid using the same login/password/email combination on other game projects.
- 3.2.6 The server staff will never ask for your account password. They have all the necessary information about your account. They may ask for your login/username, ISP name, email, and IP address.
- 3.2.7 Unauthorized access to game accounts, hacking accounts, or using databases from other servers through brute-force methods is not allowed.
3.3 Purchase, Sale, and Exchange of In-Game Items (RMT - Real Money Trading)
- 3.3.1 Buying, selling, or exchanging in-game items (Items, Zeny, Cash Points, Accounts) for real money or their equivalent is not allowed.
- 3.3.2 Spreading information about buying, selling, or exchanging in-game items (Items, Zeny, Cash Points, Accounts) for real money or their equivalent (PayPal, Web money, Western Union, etc.) is not allowed.
- 3.3.3 Spreading information about buying, selling, or exchanging in-game items (Items, Zeny, Cash Points, Accounts) between YARS World and other games or private servers is not allowed.
4. GAMEPLAY
4.1 General Rules
- 4.1.1 Using bugs in the game client or server to gain an advantage or affect server stability and withholding information about them is not allowed.
- 4.1.2 Disrespectful and humiliating behavior towards other players is not allowed.
- 4.1.3 Pretending to be a server staff member is not allowed.
- 4.1.4 Requesting or using secret information from other players, such as account details, PIN codes, payment information, etc., is not allowed.
- 4.1.5 Using skills excessively or opening warp portals on respawn cells in towns is not allowed.
- 4.1.6 Disrespectful behavior towards the server staff is not allowed. Players cannot challenge or dispute the actions and decisions of the server staff.
- 4.1.7 Harassing other players and server staff is not allowed.
- 4.1.8 Using the
@noks
command to prevent monster stealing and kill stealing is not allowed. Players witnessing such behavior can file a complaint, and appropriate actions will be taken by the server staff. - 4.1.9 Leaving monsters on the map with low HP levels and engaging in kill stealing is not allowed.
- 4.1.10 Blocking standard warp portals with the "Ice Wall" skill in other locations is not allowed.
4.2 MvP/Mini-Boss Gameplay
- 4.3.1 Interfering with MvPs and Mini-Bosses is allowed.
- 4.3.2 Kill stealing on MvPs and Mini-Bosses (except for those affected by the @noks command) is allowed.
4.3 Vending Gameplay
- 4.4.1 Do not use false advertisements in shop titles to deceive buyers.
- 4.4.2 Do not attempt to block vending locations solely to reserve space. Violators may be kicked or punished at the server staff's discretion.
- 4.4.3 Do not set up Buying Stores with prices lower than their NPC values.
- 4.4.4 Misrepresenting the rarity or value of store items during their sale is strictly prohibited. Deceiving or manipulating other players by falsely advertising the rarity or exclusivity of items is forbidden. All transactions involving store items must provide accurate information about their actual rarity and value.
Dead Branches, Bloody Branches, Azoth, or Hylozoist Card
- 4.5.1 All monsters spawned from Dead Branches and Bloody Branches are Free For All (FFA).
- 4.5.2 The server staff has the right to clean locations at their discretion. Please note that preventing ill-mannered activities with DB/BB completely may not be possible. We appreciate your patience.
5. COMMUNICATION
5.1 General Rules
- 5.1.1 Insults, threats, blackmail, sexual harassment, and incitement of ethnic or interracial discord are prohibited.
- 5.1.2 Spamming and flooding in the general chat, such as writing one word per line, using all uppercase words (CAPS LOCK), repetitive messages, and annoying advertising messages, are prohibited.
- 5.1.3 Gossiping and spreading misinformation about the server staff and other players are prohibited.
- 5.1.4 Communication rules within guilds are regulated according to the guild's rules and the guild leader's guidelines.
- 5.1.5 Communication rules within parties are regulated according to the party leader's guidelines.
- 5.1.6 Using or promoting any form of game or gaming community images with Nazi symbols or symbols similar to Nazi attributes is prohibited. Nazi symbols are prohibited in many forms by current legislation in most European countries and are considered offensive.
5.2 Communication with the Server Staff
- 5.2.1 When communicating with the server staff, players must be courteous, polite, and patient. Players should briefly and clearly describe their problem or answer questions posed by the server staff without using slang.
- 5.2.2 Players must not interrupt the server staff or make sarcastic remarks about their professional abilities.
- 5.2.3 Asking the server staff to perform tasks outside of their duties is not allowed.
- 5.2.4 When responding to questions from the server staff, players must not conceal or provide false information.
- 5.2.5 Players must not unnecessarily hinder or distract the server staff from their duties.
- 5.2.6 The server staff does not respond to questions about gameplay.
5.3 Requesting support from Server Staff
- 5.3.1 When requesting for support it should always be in the official Server language. English.
- 5.3.2 Support will only be given through official channels. Discord

. Avoid sending DMs on Discord or in-game, they will most likely not be answered. - 5.3.3 Support is given when there is an actual bug or issue with the game. If you have a question about gameplay, please ask in the
#general
channel on Discord. - 5.3.4 Support will be denied for the following types of questions:

"I did a mistake in my build, please help me with a reset".

"I picked the wrong item on the store, please refund me."
-
"I did not read properly, got confused and bought X instead of Y. Please refund me."
-
"Can I get X item/zeny/levels/exp rates please?"
-
"What is the best build I can make with my X character?"
-
"My item broke after trying to enchant/refine it. There has to be a bug there. Please refund me the items."

- 5.3.5 When requesting support. Avoid the use of acronyms. Provide as much information as possible to make it easier and faster to resolve the problem. Example:
- When did this happen?
- Screenshot / Video of the problem.
- Account Character Name / Account Username.
- Current behavior.
- Expected behavior.
- 5.3.6 Support will be denied if the player is not able to provide the necessary information to resolve the problem.
- 5.3.7 Support will be denied if the player requesting it is disrispectful or rude to the server staff.
5.4 Communication in IRC Channels
- 5.4.1 Flooding and spamming are prohibited in all channels, such as repeatedly sending the same type of messages or sending meaningless messages.
- 5.4.2 Sending trading messages to channels other than
#trade
is strictly prohibited. - 5.4.3 Sending messages in a language other than English to the
#main
channel is prohibited. - 5.4.4 Sending political, nationalistic, or racist messages is prohibited.
- 5.4.5 Sending messages about illegal drugs is prohibited.
- 5.4.6 Sending messages about the sale and purchase of drugs is prohibited.
- 5.4.7 Sending messages with insults or taunts directed at the administration is prohibited.
6. PUNISHMENT
- 6.1 Sanctions are imposed when there is direct evidence of violations.
- 6.1.1 Reports from other players should include a screenshot or replay attached to the complaint, clearly showing the violation and the violator's nickname. Editing or resizing screenshots is not allowed. The chat should be visible in its entirety. Screenshots are valid for up to 3 days.
- 6.1.2 If a violation is observed by the server staff at the time of occurrence.
- 6.1.3 Server logs that directly indicate a violator.
- 6.2 All reports should be submitted using the #support channel on Discord or through email at
support@yars.world
if you don't want other players to see your report. Reports sent through other means will not be considered.
7. SANCTIONS LIST
The server staff may apply the following sanctions to violators:
- 7.1 Account suspension - Temporary or permanent suspension of the account.
- 7.2 IP blocking - Blocking access to the game server from a specific IP or group of IPs.
- 7.3 Hardware blocking - Blocking access to the game server from a specific hardware or group of hardware.
- 7.4 Confiscation of items - Complete or partial confiscation of items from a single character or all characters on the game account.
- 7.5 IRC mute - Blocking the ability to send messages in IRC channel(s).
- 7.6 Jail time - Temporarily sending the character to prison.
- 7.7 Battlegrounds ban - Temporary ban from participating in several games.
